EVENTS
The first event that I ever organised was TRANSCENDANCE 3, an one-night-concert of show-stopping performances. This event played a major part in igniting my event passion.
At my third year of university, I was successfully nominated as a Student Council Officer. It was an incredible job because you are a part of the elite team which hosts the largest scale university events. Some of them even contribute to a movement of the local community. There was a wide range of event types that I was exposed to. For instance, namely sport event Curtin Cup, welfare project Curtin Cinema, entertainment event Slide the City, and many more.
I also worked at Marriott Gaylord Opryland resort as a Special Event Attendant at the United States. My duty was mainly at the frontline, greeting, assisting and building conversations with people. Apart from the amazing memories I have got with customers and colleagues, I have learnt unique insights into how events are operated in the industry.
These opportunities allowed me to develop my attributes that fit in the marketplace. Check it out!

Behind all the success stories are the joint effort of the team. We did not do it alone. Nobody needs to do it alone. 3 years of university have consolidated my ability to work as a team, to believe in others, and most importantly, to confirm a fact that with others, we all can bring out so much more to the community we engage with.

"I personally have trained and worked side by side with Mr. Quan in regards with performing on stage, managing vendor, as well as event hosting and managing. Mr. Quan delivers the elements of professionalism, discipline, commitment, hardworking, and not to forget; smart-working. The combination of his strengths lead to a very fruitful result in the sense of him being a leader / role model to many. He inspires people without his own acknowledgement. With that being said, I personally find that is a very good trait of his. Mr. Quan’s personality is one of a kind - or should I say genuine. The commitment level of Mr. Quan is indescribably high. All the sacrifices he made lead to a wonderful result. Although this leads to his weakness / fairly not-so-good trait; he doesn’t mind losing his sleep (which means not taking care of his healthy lifestyle, sometimes) just to make sure every single tasks and responsibilities are done right. Mr. Quan always execute his tasks in a very professional and ethical way. I miss working with him, but that’s okay because I do believe that he is doing pretty well as well as constantly inspiring others out there. Quan Nguyen delivers the definition of “silent moves, loud results”.
